The Story Behind the Print
This vintage cafe menu print reproduces a 1949 menu from Harry's Cafe, restored as historical wall art for kitchens, dining rooms, cafes, and restaurant-themed gallery walls.
An orange panel of illustrated drink glasses contrasts with fine dark menu typography. Seafood, broiler choices, sandwiches, dinners, and desserts fill the wide composition, with small outlined recommendations and period prices adding detail. The right side features Harry's Recommends, a U.S. Choice Steer Tenderloin Steak at $3.75, dated Saturday, October 8th, 1949, with Dinners at 2.75 and a tall orange strip suggesting cocktails before, during and after dinner.
Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece — the print will always be richer.
