The Story Behind the Print

This vintage restaurant menu print reproduces a 1947 menu from Hasty Tasty, restored as historical wall art for kitchens, dining rooms, cafes, and restaurant-themed gallery walls.

Small brown lettering and a horse-drawn wagon illustration introduce an alphabet menu on a warm tan ground. The unusual alphabetical presentation, restaurant name, and period prices give this piece its distinctive dining-history character. Each letter from A to Z carries its own price and a joke line, from A at $1.00 for half fried chicken to Z at 45c for hot cheese and mushroom rarebit, and the foot of the sheet offers $1.00 for any gag used on the Alphabet Nite Menu.

Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.

About the Frame

Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
