The Story Behind the Print
This 1891 Riegelsville, Pennsylvania map print shows Riegelsville beside the Delaware River in a faded sage wash on warm cream paper, with named streets, names on the lots and building footprints.
The map letters the street names Airy, Bridge, Cedar, Dock, Elm and Fern, and Easton Ave., with the Delaware River, the canal, the Delaware Bridge, Union Cemetery, St. Johns Reformed Church, St. Peters Lutheran Church, an academy building and a school building named.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
