We restore and reproduce forgotten masterworks of graphic design on museum-grade paper — so they can live on your walls instead of in an archive.

The Story Behind the Print

Sarah Boone’s U.S. Patent 473,563, granted April 26, 1892, describes Sarah Boone’s narrow, curved ironing board developed to support sleeves and fitted garments while they were pressed.

Elevation, end view, and sectional details form a spare domestic-design plate with strong horizontal rhythm. This restored edition preserves the original Patent Office arrangement in crisp black linework on cool, timeworn rag paper within the collection’s restrained black double rule.

Printed to order on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper with fade-resistant archival pigment inks. A natural piece for offices, libraries, workshops, and collections of invention and industrial design.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece—the print will always be richer.

About the Frame

Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.

The selected size refers to the artwork itself. Framed orders are custom made and ship within 7 to 10 business days, free in the U.S. See our shipping and return policies for framed piece details.

This is truly a high quality, authentic print of Texas, we LOVE it! We went with the big 48 x 36 print and it looks amazing. Justin was great to work with and very quick to answer my questions. Shipping was fast too. All around, we are more than happy with our purchase!
Love it!! I don’t know how they did it, but they manage to make the map look old and like something from a museum. The frame is gorgeous. Shipped fast and was very carefully packaged so it arrived in perfect condition. Bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! Thanks!!
This print is BEAUTIFUL! It arrived quickly and soundly packaged. The color is just as we expected, and we absolutely love it. Already looking to collect more. Highly recommended vendor and item. (Thank you!)
