The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Scarlet Ibis print reproduces John James Audubon's illustration from Birds of America, plate 397, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries, and natural history collections.
A brilliant scarlet ibis stands beside a quieter brown bird with orange-red wing markings. Long curved bills, slender legs, low rocks, and still water give the paired figures a clear, elegant setting.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
