Tafel 77 from Ernst Haeckel's Kunstformen der Natur (1904), titled Siphonophorae, Staatsquallen (colonial jellyfish).. The plate is printed in white line on a deep green panel, with Haeckel's heading and the plate number above and the title below.

Long chains of small bells coil across the center of the panel, trailing fine threads. A large bell with hanging arms sits at the upper left, a star-shaped, dotted figure with trailing tentacles at the upper right, and a folded, translucent bell near the center. Pointed and four-cornered swimming bells are arranged along the right edge and across the bottom.
