The Story Behind the Print

This 1875 Washington, New Jersey map print shows the township in a soft sage wash on warm cream paper. Fine property lettering, a creek and a railroad make it a detailed study piece.

The map names Robbinsville P.O., Windsor P.O., Newtown Station, Sharon and New Canton, with Assanpink Creek lettered along its course. Hamilton and West Windsor townships are lettered along the west and north edges, and Monmouth County lies below.

About the Frame

Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
