The Story Behind the Print
This 1896 Xenia, Ohio map print shows the city in seven numbered wards, in a faded sage wash on warm cream paper, with the corporation line, ward lines and fine street lettering.
The map letters Main, Market and Church Streets across the town grid, with Upper Bellbrook Pike to the west and Jamestown Pike to the east, and Shawnee Creek, North Fork and Woodland Cemetery named. A legend marks churches, schools, the corporation line and ward lines.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
