The sheet is a two-page spread. The left page, numbered 38, is lettered MAP OF PRINCETON, SOUTH PART, and the right page, numbered 39, is lettered MAP OF OWENSVILLE, MONTGOMERY TWP. A line of handwriting on the Owensville page reads Original Lots contain 1/2 Acre & 1 rod.
On the Princeton page numbered lots fill blocks between lettered streets that include Evans, Clark, Monroe, Pinkney, Mulberry, Christian, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, with Tennessee St. along the foot. Out Lots 1 to 4 are lettered along the top, Williams Add. and Smith's Add. are lettered below them, and SOUTH SIDE ADD. is spelled out in widely spaced letters in a curve across the blocks.
South Side Sch. is lettered above a hatched building, South Side Park is a large open block with its own label, and Air Line Shops is lettered below the park. The Louisville, Evansville and St. Louis R. R. is lettered along the foot of the page. A Light Plant is lettered beside the railroad at the left, and a Catholic Church & School is lettered near the top.
On the Owensville page ORIGINAL TOWN is spelled out in widely spaced letters across the numbered blocks, with a Public Square and lettered streets that include Poplar, Clark, Brummitt, Walnut, Church, Mill, Main, First, Second and Third. Additions lettered there include Smith's Add., Montgomery's Add., Warrick's 1st Add., Warrick's 2nd Add. and Wilson's Enl., and an I.O.O.F. Cemetery is lettered beside Warrick's 2nd Add.
A track lettered OWENSVILLE BRANCH R. R. crosses the lower right of the page diagonally, double through its middle stretch, with a Depot beside it. Harmans Mill and Summers Lumber Yard are lettered near its western end.
This print appears in faded sage on warm cream paper, with black lettering.
