The Story Behind the Print
This 1899 map print shows the south part of Princeton, Indiana beside Owensville, a two-page spread from the Hammond & Tillman Publishing Company atlas, in a faded sage wash on warm cream paper.
Among the names lettered on the sheet are the streets Christian, Illinois and Indiana, South Side Park, Air Line Shops and the Louisville, Evansville and St. Louis R. R. on Princeton's page, and Public Square, Warrick's Add., I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Original Town and the Depot on Owensville's.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
