“I absolutely love my framed map of Charleston. I ordered the 36x48 and it looks gorgeous hanging in my kitchen. The size makes it such a statement piece and everyone comments on how much they like it! It came with the hanging hardware, which was helpful and easy to use.”

The Story Behind the Print
This 1871 Acushnet, Massachusetts map print shows the town's long north-to-south outline in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper. Fine property lettering, waterways and local business notices make it a detailed piece for a study or home office.
The map identifies Acushnet P.O. and Long Plain P.O., with the Acushnet River, Mill Pond and the city reservoir at Long Plain among named roads, schools, mills and properties. The reservoir and ponds keep their original black engraving on neutral paper, and the business notices at upper right record local mills, trades and residents.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
