The Story Behind the Print

This 1871 Seekonk, Massachusetts map print shows the town in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, with Seekonk P.O., South Seekonk, the Ten Mile River and Runnins River.

Insets show Perryville, Seekonk P.O., Orleans Mills on the Palmer River and Rehoboth Centre with its Mill Pond. The map also names Clay Run Brook and Jacobs Hill, with Attleborough, Pawtucket, Rehoboth, Swansea and Rhode Island along the borders.

Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
