The Story Behind the Print
This 1870 Ashburnham, Massachusetts map print presents the town in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, framed by business notices and village plans for a library or study.
From F. W. Beers's 1870 Worcester County atlas, the map identifies North Ashburnham, Burrageville, Ashburnham Centre, Watatic Mountain, the Naukeag ponds and Stodge Meadow Pond. Neutral village plans show Blackburn Village, Ashburnham Depot and South Ashburnham.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
