“Initially, I wasn't sure what size I needed. The seller was extremely helpful and offered to send mock-up images of the image in the frame so I could physically visualize the piece! Overall, it is a beautiful accent piece for our entryway table! Frame/image came packed well with not a scratch on it! Would recommend this seller 100%.”

The Story Behind the Print
This Audubon bird print reproduces plate 239 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America. The original caption names the American Coot.
A dark coot stands in shallow water before a dense bank of slender marsh reeds. Its pale bill, red eye, intricately engraved wing feathers and large lobed feet bring detail to the quiet scene. The original folio number, plate mark, caption and engraved credits remain part of the composition.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.

Customer notes
From our collectors
“My daughter loves the map in her room. She looks at is a lot . She points to all the places she wants to travel to. The packaging was great. It was very safe with all the bubble wrap! The frame was what I picked out. It arrived when it was suppose to. Thank you Liz”
“Love my hometown Santa Monica map and I can’t wait to get it framed! Would have done it through Justin but due to Covid-19 he didn’t know when that would be. So I’ll just get it done myself. Can’t wait to hang it-know exactly where it will go! Justin was kind and answered my questions in a very timely manner. Thank you again!”
