The Story Behind the Print
This 1870 Bolton and Berlin, Massachusetts map print places two neighboring towns in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, rich local history for a study or library.
The Bolton plan identifies Bolton Centre, Ballville, Fryville and Spectacle Hill; the Berlin plan includes West Berlin, Berlin Centre and South Berlin, with Gates Pond and the Assabet River in neutral paper. Separate South Berlin and Carterville village plans remain neutral.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
