The Story Behind the Print
This 1903 Brockton, Massachusetts map print places the dense city street network in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, bringing historic atlas detail to a study or home office.
The map of the City of Brockton, Plymouth County, sets its streets within the city line, with Holbrook, Abington, Whitman, East Bridgewater, West Bridgewater, Easton, Stoughton and Avon lettered around the edge. Ponds and brooks keep neutral paper.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
