The Story Behind the Print
This 1871 Charlemont, Massachusetts map print sets the town outline in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, with a larger-scale village inset and a business directory.
The town map names Zoar Village P.O., Charlemont P.O., East Charlemont P.O., the Deerfield River, Pocumtuck Mtn, Hawkes Mtn and Todds Mtn. Rowe, Heath, Hawley and Buckland are lettered around the border.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
