The Story Behind the Print
This 1908 Charter Oak, Iowa map print, from the Geo. A. Ogle & Co. atlas of Crawford County, shows the town in Charter Oak Township in a faded sage wash on warm cream paper.
The plate letters North Charter Oak, Harrison's to Charter Oak Add. and Milwaukee Land Co.'s to Charter Oak 1st Add., the Park and School Lot, the Depot, Green Bay Lumber Yard and elevators beside the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul R.R., Soldier River and the owner F. Waddington.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
