This Ciliata – Wimperlinge chart print is a museum quality reproduction of Ernst Haeckel's 1904 scientific illustration from Kunstformen der Natur. The composition displays seventeen individually numbered ciliate organisms rendered in pale green ink across a cream ground, each specimen carefully drawn to reveal anatomical structure and morphological variation. Long curved forms with ciliated edges curve along the left and right borders, while the center presents a dense radiating specimen with delicate trumpet-like tentacles. Surrounding figures show bulbous bell-shaped ciliates, spheroid bodies with patterned surfaces, and branching colonial forms at the lower register. The title "Ciliata. – Wimperlinge." appears in German beneath the bordered frame, with "Haeckel, Kunstformen der Natur" credited at top and "Tafel 31 – Sträder" at upper right.
