“Initially, I wasn't sure what size I needed. The seller was extremely helpful and offered to send mock-up images of the image in the frame so I could physically visualize the piece! Overall, it is a beautiful accent piece for our entryway table! Frame/image came packed well with not a scratch on it! Would recommend this seller 100%.”

The Story Behind the Print
Cyrtoidea - Flaschenstrahlinge - Ernst Haeckel Scientific Illustration Print
This fine art print reproduces Plate 31, Cyrtoidea - Flaschenstrahlinge (Calocyclas) from Ernst Haeckel's Kunstformen der Natur, published in 1904. The Library of Congress describes the microorganisms as Radiolaria and identifies the plate specimen as Calocyclas. The original plate was lithographed by Adolf Giltsch after Haeckel's design.
The detailed natural-history composition brings an elegant scientific focus to studies, libraries, classrooms, offices, and collected gallery walls.
Premium Archival Quality
Printed on heavyweight museum-grade matte paper from a carefully prepared high-resolution file for crisp detail and durable display.
A Thoughtful Gift
A distinctive gift for microscopy and microbiology enthusiasts, natural-history collectors, and admirers of Ernst Haeckel's art.

“My daughter loves the map in her room. She looks at is a lot . She points to all the places she wants to travel to. The packaging was great. It was very safe with all the bubble wrap! The frame was what I picked out. It arrived when it was suppose to. Thank you Liz”
“Love my hometown Santa Monica map and I can’t wait to get it framed! Would have done it through Justin but due to Covid-19 he didn’t know when that would be. So I’ll just get it done myself. Can’t wait to hang it-know exactly where it will go! Justin was kind and answered my questions in a very timely manner. Thank you again!”
