The Story Behind the Print
This 1907 Elkhorn, Wisconsin map print shows the north part of Elkhorn in a faded sage wash on warm cream paper, with lettered streets, numbered blocks, handwritten names on the parcels and the fair grounds.
The map letters Walworth, Court, Jefferson, Wisconsin and Washington streets, Davis Add., Harrison's Add. and Hodge's Add., the Court House, Public School, Hazelridge and Mt Ollive cemeteries, a Proposed R. R. and the Walworth County Agricultural Society Fair Grounds with a Grand Stand.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
