The Story Behind the Print

This 1873 Greenwich and Enfield, Massachusetts map print sets the two neighboring towns in a pale hand-brushed wash on soft ivory paper, with the Business Notices set beside the map.

The sheet is lettered Greenwich & Enfield, with Greenwich Village, Enfield Upper Village and both post offices marked, Swift River and its branches, Curtis Pond, East Pond and Davis Pond, and Pomeroy Mountain, Mount Lizzie and Quabin Mountain.

Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame

Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
