The Story Behind the Print
This 1873 Ware, Massachusetts map print sets the whole town in a pale hand-brushed wash on soft ivory paper, with its roads, hills, ponds and rivers kept in the original engraving.
The sheet is lettered Ware, Ware Centre and Ware P.O., with Miners Pond, Swift River, Ware River, Muddy Brook and Brimstone Hill, plus neighboring Enfield and Hampden County, and a scale of 160 rods to the inch.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
About the Frame

“Just perfect! I adore it for my kitchen.”
“Wow! This is the second print I've purchased from Paola and couldn't be happier with the quality! It's printed on nice thick paper and the colors are really vibrant. I bought it as a gift and the recipient loves it. The packaging was nice as well - it came rolled up so it was protected during shipping but unrolled easily for the frame. Thank you!!”
