The Story Behind the Print
This 1875 Greenwood, Massachusetts map print sets the village plan in a pale hand-brushed wash on soft ivory paper, with its streets, house lots and railroad kept in the original engraving.
The sheet is lettered Greenwood, Town of Wakefield, with Main Street, Prospect Street, Oliver Street, Oak Street, Myrtle Avenue, Greenwood Institute and Building Lots, at a scale of 300 feet to the inch.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
