The Story Behind the Print
This 1875 Lincoln, Massachusetts map print sets the town in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, with finely engraved ponds and streams for a study or library.
The map identifies Lincoln P.O. and South Lincoln P.O., with Sandy Pond and Beaver Pond in neutral paper and the Sudbury River at the west. Walden Pond sits on the northern town line, and The Grange, the Fitchburg Railroad and named properties fill the town.

About the Frame
