The Story Behind the Print
This 1870 Longmeadow and East Longmeadow, Massachusetts map print sets both village plans in a pale hand-brushed wash on soft ivory paper, with the streets, brooks and business lists kept in the original engraving.
The sheet is lettered Long Meadow and East Long Meadow, Town of Long Meadow, with Cooley's Brook, Raspberry Brook, the New Haven, Hartford and Springfield Rail Road, the Depot and a Subscriber's Business Reference beside each village.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
