The Story Behind the Print
This 1871 Monroe and Rowe, Massachusetts map print sets both towns in a pale hand-brushed wash on soft ivory paper, with roads, mills, brooks and hills kept in the original engraving.
The sheet is lettered Monroe & Rowe, with Rowe Centre P.O., the Reservoir and Pond near the village, the Deerfield River, Pelham Brook, Mill Brook and Adams Mtn, and Vermont and Charlemont named along the borders.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
