This 1777 Rhode Island topographical map print reproduces the celebrated bay chart associated with Charles Blaskowitz and William Faden. The map centers Rhode Island, Conanicut Island, Providence Bay, Mount Hope Bay, Newport, Bristol, soundings, shoals, batteries, farms, coastal relief, and a large decorative title cartouche.

The composition works beautifully in coastal homes, studies, libraries, offices, map rooms, Newport and Rhode Island interiors, beach houses, and historic New England gallery walls. It has the presence of an eighteenth-century military and cartographic document, but the hand-colored coastline and sculptural relief make it warm enough for residential wall art.
