We restore and reproduce forgotten masterworks of graphic design on museum-grade paper — so they can live on your walls instead of in an archive.
The Story Behind the Print
Nikola Tesla’s U.S. Patent 613,809, granted November 8, 1898, records a method and apparatus for controlling moving vessels or vehicles from a distance. Radio signals operated steering and other mechanisms aboard the craft, making the patent an early landmark in remote control.
The top-down vessel drawing exposes batteries, motors, relays, and steering gear within a compact hull. This restored edition preserves the measured technical composition in black linework on cool aged rag paper, finished with the collection’s restrained black border.
Printed to order on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper with fade-resistant archival pigment inks. A compelling document for engineering offices, technology collections, libraries, and workshops.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece—the print will always be richer.
About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with a 1.125 inch face, glazed in crystal-clear acrylic, and finished with a kraft paper dust cover and hanging wire. Your print is dry mounted so it stays perfectly flat for decades. Each framed piece arrives ready to hang.
The frame adds roughly 1.75 inches to each side of the print size you select. Framed orders are custom made and ship within 7 to 10 business days, free in the U.S. See our shipping and return policies for framed piece details.
From a Collector
“I wasn't sure what size I needed. The seller was extremely helpful and offered to send mock-up images. Beautiful accent piece!”
