The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Prairie Warbler print reproduces plate 14 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and botanical gallery walls.
Two yellow warblers cling to tall, curling grass stems beneath finely bristled seed heads. One hangs beneath an arching leaf while its companion looks upward from a lower stalk; dark wing markings, warm ocher blades and a tiny red insect add detail to the long botanical arrangement.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
