The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Song Sparrow print reproduces plate 25 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and natural-history gallery walls.
Two brown, streaked sparrows reach toward small spiders among branching stems and delicate blossoms. The upper bird stretches toward a spider suspended on a fine thread, while the lower bird leans forward beneath it; scattered green leaves and pale pink flowers soften the angular branches.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
