The Story Behind the Print

This vintage Indian menu print reproduces an 1897 menu associated with the Maharaja of Baroda at Gwalior, restored as historical wall art for dining rooms, studies, libraries, and Indian heritage gallery walls.

The menu offers a glimpse of royal dining in late 19th century India. A portrait medallion, ornate corner emblems, brown lettering, and a French dessert line give the design its distinctive character. Its printed dishes and decorative typography make it a specific piece of Indian culinary history.

Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.

About the Frame
