The Story Behind the Print

This vintage Baroda menu print reproduces an 1897 dinner menu honoring Maharaja Scindiya, restored as historical wall art for dining rooms, studies, libraries, and Indian history gallery walls.

The dinner was hosted by the Maharaja of Baroda, placing this menu within the royal dining culture of late 19th century India. A red portrait medallion, brown Devanagari lettering, and ornamental corner emblems frame the dishes. The formal layout and period printing bring a distinctive piece of Indian culinary heritage to the wall.

Printed on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper using fade-resistant giclée printing with archival inks, preserving the detail and character of the original for generations.

About the Frame
