This 1870 Sturbridge and Southbridge, Massachusetts map print sets both towns in a pale hand-brushed wash on soft ivory paper, with its roads, hills, ponds and village names kept in the original engraving.

The sheet is lettered Sturbridge and Southbridge, with Fiskdale, Cedar Pond, Walker Pond, Walker Mountain, Lead Mine Mountain, Shuttleville, Sandersdale and Southbridge Centre, plus neighboring Brookfield, Charlton, Dudley and Connecticut.

About the Frame

Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
