The Story Behind the Print

This 1875 Townsend, Massachusetts map print presents the town and its harbor settlement in warm color and fine linework. It suits a home office, library or display of New England local history.

An orange boundary encloses the Townsend town map, with West Townsend, Townsend Harbor and Harbor Pond labeled among roads and property names. A larger Townsend Harbor inset follows the Squannacook River and nearby buildings.

Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.

“I contacted Paola and asked if she could print me a Sanibel Island map - even though there wasn't one on her page for sale. She immediately responded with "yes" and sent me a photograph before printing for me to approve. My package came well protected; and my picture is absolutely perfect! It looks beautiful in the distressed wood frame I bought. My mom is going to love it; and now I have to order one for myself!”

“I absolutely love my framed map of Charleston. I ordered the 36x48 and it looks gorgeous hanging in my kitchen. The size makes it such a statement piece and everyone comments on how much they like it! It came with the hanging hardware, which was helpful and easy to use.”
