“Love it!! I don’t know how they did it, but they manage to make the map look old and like something from a museum. The frame is gorgeous. Shipped fast and was very carefully packaged so it arrived in perfect condition. Bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! Thanks!!”

The Story Behind the Print
This vintage print reproduces John James Audubon's illustration of the Turkey Buzzard from Birds of America, plate 151, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries, and natural history collections.
Two turkey buzzards occupy a bare, weathered tree, one perched above and the other with wings spread below. Bare heads, layered brown feathers, and pale flight feathers distinguish this imposing natural-history study.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
The selected size refers to the artwork itself. Framed orders are custom made and ship within 7 to 10 business days, free in the U.S. See our shipping and return policies for framed piece details.

“This print is BEAUTIFUL! It arrived quickly and soundly packaged. The color is just as we expected, and we absolutely love it. Already looking to collect more. Highly recommended vendor and item. (Thank you!)”
“I contacted Paola and asked if she could print me a Sanibel Island map - even though there wasn't one on her page for sale. She immediately responded with "yes" and sent me a photograph before printing for me to approve. My package came well protected; and my picture is absolutely perfect! It looks beautiful in the distressed wood frame I bought. My mom is going to love it; and now I have to order one for myself!”
