The Story Behind the Print
This 1870 Winchendon, Massachusetts map print sets the town overview in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, with its ponds, railway routes and delicate property lettering for a home office.
The map identifies Winchendon P.O., Winchendon Centre, Waterville, Springville, Bullardville and Harrisville, with Millers River, Denison Lake and Monomonac Pond in neutral paper. Separate plans of Springville, Winchendon Centre and Bullardville show the villages at larger scale.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
