The Story Behind the Print

This 1910 Dennis, Massachusetts map print sets the sheet in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, pairing a West Dennis village plate with an index map of the whole town.

The village plate names Kelley's Pond, Bass River, Main St. and Pond St. The index map names Scargo Lake, Nobscusset Harbor, Dennisport, South Dennis and East Dennis, with Yarmouth, Harwich and Brewster along the border.

Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
