The Story Behind the Print

This 1884 Georgetown, Massachusetts map print gives the town's angled outline a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, with ponds, village streets and fine lettering for a library or home office.

The town map identifies Georgetown Village, Marlborough Village, Rock Pond, Pentucket Pond, Long Hill and Bald Pate Hill among roads, schools and named properties. The ponds stay neutral paper, and the bold Town of Georgetown title remains beyond the town line.

Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
