The Story Behind the Print
This 1884 Peabody, Massachusetts map print shows the town in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, with Peabody village, Felton's Corner, Needhams Corner, Locustdale and Brookdale.
The map names Suntaug Lake, Brown's Pond, Cedar Pond and Crowninshield's Pond, with Fox Hill, Mount Pleasant and a cemetery. The Salem & Lowell, Eastern and South Reading Branch railroads cross town, and Danvers, Lynnfield, Middleton and Salem are lettered along the borders.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
