The Story Behind the Print
Guglielmo Marconi’s U.S. Patent 586,193, granted July 13, 1897, describes Guglielmo Marconi’s system for transmitting electrical signals with high-frequency oscillations through the air, earth, or water.
Reflectors, circuits, oscillators, and receiver components form an intricate map of early wireless communication. This restored edition preserves the original Patent Office arrangement in crisp black linework on cool, timeworn rag paper within the collection’s restrained black double rule.
Printed to order on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper with fade-resistant archival pigment inks. A natural piece for offices, libraries, workshops, and collections of invention and industrial design.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
