The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Night Hawk print reproduces plate 147 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and nature-inspired gallery walls.
Four birds appear among broad green oak leaves, one spreading its long wings while the others rest along the branches. White wing patches, mottled brown plumage and two small flying insects create a detailed woodland study, with the original title and botanical inscription beneath.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
