The Story Behind the Print
This 1873 Raritan, New Jersey map print is rendered in a soft sage wash on warm cream paper. Fine property lettering, creeks and numbered districts make it a detailed study piece.
The map names Flemington P.O., Klinesville P.O., Reaville P.O., Copperhill P.O., Croton P.O. and Cloverhill P.O., with Pleasant Corner, Ringoes Station and Neshanic Creek also lettered. The scale line sits below the title.
Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.
Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.
