The Story Behind the Print

This 1910 Truro, Massachusetts map print sets the Cape Cod town in a pale hand-brushed sage wash on soft ivory paper, with Pilgrim Beach and North Truro plans.

The index map marks Truro P.O., North Truro P.O., Cornhill, Ballston Hts. and Pamet R., with Cape Cod Bay, the Atlantic Ocean and Pilgrim Lake around it. Pond and lake outlines keep their original black engraving on neutral paper.

Archive Print Co. restores each map for clarity while preserving the aged cartographic character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

Colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished piece; the print will always be richer in person.

“Brilliant service. The seller reported a delay in the frame style, a second choice was immediately substituted, (visual choices were made available), and the shipment completed without any problem. He was candid, honest, and thorough. The item is stunning! It is the focal point in the living room,”
