The Story Behind the Print
This vintage Crested Titmouse print reproduces plate 39 from John James Audubon's nineteenth-century Birds of America, restored as historical wall art for studies, libraries and woodland gallery walls.
Two blue-gray crested birds cling to pine branches laden with long green cones. The upper bird bends downward while its companion looks up beneath a curved twig; fine needles radiate through the composition, contrasting with pale cheeks, dark bills and layered feathers.
Archive Print Co. restores each illustration for clarity while preserving the character of the original. Each reproduction is printed as a giclée art print on heavyweight 325gsm archival matte paper with archival inks.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
