The Story Behind the Print
Robert H. Goddard’s U.S. Patent 1102653, granted July 7, 1914, documents a multi-stage rocket concept with propellant chambers, nozzles, and sequencing intended to extend altitude and efficiency.
Tall rocket sections and carefully labeled internal components give the sheet a spare, visionary vertical geometry. This restored edition preserves the original patent arrangement in crisp black linework on cool, timeworn rag paper within the collection’s restrained black double rule.
Printed to order on 325gsm museum-grade archival matte paper with fade-resistant archival pigment inks. A natural piece for science rooms, offices, libraries, and collections of spaceflight history.

About the Frame
Framed pieces are built to order in solid wood with clear acrylic glazing, dry-mounted artwork, a kraft paper dust cover, and hanging wire. Each piece arrives ready to hang. No mat. Satin Black has a 7/8-inch face and adds 1.25 inches to the total width and height. Slimwood Silver and Slimwood Gold have a 1 1/8-inch face and add 1.75 inches to the total width and height.
